Referred to Grand Island Physical Therapy (GIPT) by my Physician for nagging two-year shoulder pain. Requesting a therapist w/love for Sport rehab, I was assigned to Stacy L. Stacy listened to my needs during intake and immediately assessed and diagnosed my pain as rotator cuff. From previous rehab experience, I understand the importance of “doing the work” in clinic and home. Under Stacy’s supervision, other competent therapists have helped lead me through a range of standing, seated & vertical exercises. After two sessions I was feeling much better, and post-third and fourth sessions I felt I was on-track and able to work prescribed exercises at home. Stacy and the team around her are highly driven, efficient & extremely competent and I recommend their services to anyone who wants to improve mobility w/less pain! I was referred to the hand clinic for PT after surgery for a broken wrist. I had reservations about the treatments not knowing what to expect. My first appointment I was assigned to Katie Ondracek who from her first touch and smile put my fears to rest. I received excellent treatments, explanations and care from not only Katie but the times I worked with Betsy and Sami. Very professional and nice. Katie Ondracek worked wonders for my thimb. We won’t have to do surgery at this time. I highly recommend Katie for any type of therapy that she does.
